- Henry Schlosser, born in 1783 died in 1819 at age 36 years, inherited his father's dwelling and plantation, 245 acres of the tract "Sun is down, moon is up", a few miles from Middletown, Maryland. This was the great-great-grandfather of Harold and Charles Schlosser and Maxine Schlosser-Welsh (Lorin) of Attica and Williamsport, Indiana.
Henry was married to Catherine DeLauter in 1806, she died in 1828. Four children were born to this union, Daniel Schlosser 1807-1875, Mary Ann Schlosser 1808-1892, Henry C. Schlosser 1813-1878, and Elias Schlosser, 1816-1890.
Daniel Schlosser was a wagon-maker, he married Elizabeth Wolf in 1828, they were the parents of 11 children. Elizabeth died in 1866. Daniel sold his land in Marylnad in 1867 and moved to Warren County, Indiana where his sister, brothers, and two sons were living. He settled on a farm 2 1/2 miles west of Williamsport, Ind
